Dan Rose – My Heart Belongs with You EP [Review]

My Heart Belongs with You is the new EP from Dan Rose.

The Danish solo artist, Dan Rose, brings his brand of easy-going Indie Rock to the masses with his latest release. My Heart Belongs with You is a strong EP, filled with a wide array of influences. The title track kicks the EP off with a 90s smooth rock vibe. The guitar tones are well-chosen and the general flow of the track brings out the catchiness that remains throughout the 5 track release.

Both The Opposite and She’s Always Right take on a more acoustic feel, reminiscent of Bob Dylan. The raw vocal style works in tandem with the low key guitar rhythm, and with the introduction of harmonica in the latter, it produces a more countrified edge. By the time you reach the ultimate track, Hey Tom, you fully grasp the creeping Lo-Fi essence that makes this EP quite unique. My Heart Belongs with You is out now for all to enjoy.
