    MAWD – Hot Shit [Review]

Hot Shit is the latest anthemic banger from California based MAWD.

The Californian born songwriter has an impressive resume, which includes opening for Robby Kreiger of The Doors and touring SXSW. Her brand of indelible psychedelic hooks and punk-like charm combine to create an intriguing and unique sound. Hot Shit is a pulsating bit of alternative indie, designed to get your head banging and body swaying.

MAWD’s vocals have the same charismatic style as Karen O. Wonderfully crafted and effortlessly bold, they take the forefront in this excellent track. MAWD has the canny ability to fuse the brashness of indie rock and the catchiness of a pop anthem, creating a superb tune that you will be listening to over and over again. Hot Shit is the latest in a long line of releases, and you won’t have to wait long for more as there’s an LP in the pipeline for 2021
