Red Eye – The Cycle [LP]

Surrounded by the mysterious karstic landscapes of El Torcal and housing one of the most important megalithic monuments in Europe (Menga), the city of Antequera (Málaga) can be considered a magical location. The first settlements of prehistoric man arose there in the south of the Iberian Peninsula and, without a doubt, the local quartet Red Eye was inspired by their surroundings and the connection between Man and Nature when forming as a band at the beginning of 2016. A new interpretation of proto rock and stoner doom in something creative and genuine. His first full-length is titled Tales From The Days Of Yore, which was released on February 22 through Alone Records. Recorded at local Green Cross studios, its six tracks flow and express themselves as one that you can really feel. TFTDOY becomes an indispensable collection of aggressive riffs, excellent vocal melodies and memorable solos that should not be missed by any fan of Sleep, YOB or Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats. The band itself recognizes “There is something magical in this area, something perhaps supernatural, that marks our way of composing music and even our daily lives. We cannot and should not deny it and it would be stupid to do so.” Red Eye – The Cycle [2022] 1 – Foresaga ~ 0:00 2 – Flyht ~ 2:47 3 – Gaderung ~ 8:13 4 – Tempel ~ 17:39 5 – Morþor ~ 24:55 6 – Beorg ~ 31:37 7 – Æsce ~ 38:26 Red Eye Facebook
