Inspired by visions of a raging ocean and catastrophic maritime imagery, “Stygian Waters” unfolds as a violent struggle against overwhelming natural forces, where survival, dread and the supernatural collide. Fast-paced rhythms, razor-sharp riffs and a dark, cinematic atmosphere reinforce Torchia’s signature sound, firmly grounded in Finnish extreme metal tradition while maintaining a strong sense of melody.
