Rockshots Records is proud to announce the release of “The Crucible,” the debut album from HARPAZO, a super-group formed by guitarist Marc Centanni and producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery, Ayreon). Set for release on June 28, this progressive metal rock opera is a thrilling journey through a dystopian future, merging elements of progressive and power metal with symphonic and Celtic influences.

“The Crucible” is a concept album that explores a world in turmoil, where technology and prophecy collide. The story unfolds across various epic tracks,weaving a tale of revolution, assassins, and a charismatic leader with a dark agenda. The narrative primarily takes place in Rome, Jerusalem, New York, and Washington DC, offering a rich backdrop for the complex and intense musical arrangements.

The new album will see Metatrone with a renewed lineup,. After the entry of the new singer Daniel Barbagallo, introduced with “Amore Traverso” (2021), the new band members are Alessandro Palazzo (Bass) and Simone Alberti (Drums) which replace Dino Fiorenza and Salvo Grasso respectively.

Christian metal masters Metatrone have announced to be releasing their brand new album Eucharismetal on March 11, 2016 via Rockshots Music.

Priest Davide Bruno (keyboards) and Stefano Calvagno (guitar) teamed up with Joe Lombardo (vocals), Dino Fiorenza (bass), Salvo Grasso (drums) to write, record and produce the most cohesive sounding Metatrone album to date.

“Iron & Fire” is taken from Truth And Its Burden’s monumental set recorded live in the bands very own studio for the event. The album sees the bands playing tracks from 2017’s critically acclaimed release “I Labour”.

With the world in lockdown and the live music industry grinding to a sudden halt, South Africa’s foremost metal music site METAL4AFRICA.COM refused to give in and decided to take their annual Winterfest event online on the 1st August 2020.

“We were so pleased when we got the call to participate in this year’s Winterfest – Online Edition. Considering the entire world was standing still, to have something concrete to work on was a real blessing for us. Lockdown had separated us in ways we never imagined, so to have a viable “legal” reason to be working in the same space together again, was just what the spirit needed.” Comments vocalist Ashley De Beer. “We finished construction on our studio, we bought additional gear, we called in favours and broke our backs to make this show a reality. We had no idea it would be such a cool opportunity for us to learn and grow. We’re truly thankful.”
