After an extensive indefinite tour, playing night to night across various European towns, villages and cities, grungemaster has settled down long enough to record their latest single ‘ultra’ – the first and only single from their third studio album ‘warlock’ (releasing December 13th).

Mixing swirling breakbeats with nostalgia laden synths and vocoded snippets of distorted voice, ‘ultra’ combines disparate elements into a cohesive whole – soundtracking the depraved evenings of whoever will offer them food and lodging. Refined over railway travels and recorded in part, on a 1997 Blackberry, grungemaster’s new single defies categorisation.
