Award-winning Italian producer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and re-mixer, NeroArgento announces he will be releasing his sixth studio album “Land of Silence” via Rockshots Records on October 7th, 2022. To anticipate the album’s release, NeroArgento has chosen the track “The Way I Am” as the first single.

“The track is influenced by a more classic nu-metal sound in the vibe of the early Linkin Park, but in a current guise, in the wake of bands like Tetrarch or Motionless in White with detuned guitars, massive grooves, and super melodic choruses,” adds NeroArgento.

The video clip for “The Way I Am” was directed by NeroArgento, Fabio Brunello (CGI), and Mattia Di Matera (live shots) and is a journey into the near future, composed of different power plays and opposing realities that contrast with each other in search of a balance that struggles to remain to stand, all surrounded by classic 80’s cyberpunk settings and the inevitable neon lights.

NeroArgento is recommended for fans of Motionless In White, Falling In Reverse, and Bring Me The Horizon.

On December 18^th, 2020, the Belgian metalband October Changes releases their new home recorded single “The Dark Paradise”.

OCTOBER CHANGE’s music can be described as an eclectic blend of symphonic, industrial and gothic metal, fused together with some electronic influences. The female vocalist delivers vocals that go from clean, more classic inspired to more powerful dark vocals. The result is a unique and variable sound that has the ability to reach beyond metal-music-lovers.

“The song went through quite a process to become what it is today. We wanted to create a dark, but heavy vibe, with a strong sound and a dark industrial mood. We think we really succeeded in that.

For the mixing and mastering we wanted someone that could bring out the best in our music. We found a really good match with Josh Welshman from JW mixing in New York. Some people might know him as the vocalist from the band Defeated Sanity. He has produced, mixed and mastered some great bands like Norah Jones, David Crosby, Defeated Sanity,… It was a real honor and pleasure to get the chance to work with such a great guy!”, October Changes

Arizona’s REALIZE channel Godflesh, Nailbomb, and Meathook Seed with their sophomore album Machine Violence, assembling an abrasive and hyper-aggressive take on industrial metal. The band, featuring Kyle Kennedy (Sex Prisoner), Matt Underwood (Sex Prisoner) and Matt Mutterperl (North and Languish), amalgamate crushing metal riffs with driving, yet often unorthodox industrial rhythms and dissonant noise.

The pace of Machine Violence is unrelenting throughout. REALIZE tackles stark themes such as isolation, altered reality, simulations, and anxiety, taking inspiration from science fiction writers such as Phillip K Dick and Frederik Pohl. Redefining “heavy”, tracks such as “Disappear” and “Slag Pile” see the band unleashing menacing riffs against in-your-face, confrontational vocals, while “Alone Against Flames” and “Melted Base” thrash the listener straight away with faster tempos and and a hardcore swagger.

Adhering to an old-school approach of writing and recording, REALIZE and Machine Violence reflect on the advancing convergence of organic life and machines. No amps or drums were used in the recording process; vocals, guitars, and bass all used computerized amps and effect modulations, and drums were programmed on an Alesis machine.

With Machine Violence, REALIZE leap forward and showcase industrial metal at its most ferocious and uncompromising!

Industrial metal visionary AUTHOR & PUNISHER delivers his sixth full-length recording and Relapse debut Beastland. Drawing inspiration from his career as a mechanical engineer, Tristan Shone (the creator and sole artist behind AUTHOR & PUNISHER) forged a relationship with design, sound, and fabrication that ultimately yielded his hand-built “Drone Machines” which mapped the journey away from traditional instrumentation towards custom made “precision machinery.” A robotic experimentation in industrial metal, noise, doom and drone, AUTHOR & PUNISHER recalls Nine Inch Nails channeling Godflesh, traversing through dark, uncompromising, and often disturbing soundscapes with occasional detours into rich melodies and splinters of light. Armed with newly built “Drone Machines” and a new label, Beastland is AUTHOR & PUNISHER’s career-defining statement and a powerful listening experience that further blurs the line between man and machine.

Beastland was recorded at K Street in San Diego, CA and engineered by Tristan Shone & John Cota (Death Eyes). Additional recording was done in Las Cruces, NM with Jason Begin (vytear). The album is co-produced with Braden Diotte (Faust, EXO//ENDO, Neurosis, Tarantula Hawk), mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.
