Archie returns with the first single from his upcoming E.P. Gold Again features a driving post-punk bassline with warm chorus laded dreamy guitars, soft synthesiser, deep vocals and beautiful harmonies. The track was written in the summer of 2020 but was only fully developed in Archie’s small bedroom during the dark winter months.

The lyrics are based on a classic poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson called “The Oak”. The song went through a few different development stages before the final version you hear here today. Jasmine lends her soft voice and vocal harmonies during the chorus section of the track and also her film expertise for the music video which she directed and stared in.

Archie’s new E.P. will be released in September of this year and features his best crafted songs to date, telling his story of moving away and falling in love.

She’s a Mirage is the second single from Baltimore at an Angle’s 2nd album “I’m a Victor”. Combining jangly guitar and catchy bass hooks, Gilligham’s new track captures the essence of 80s indie from his bedroom in Bournemouth. Gilligham’s more collaborative approach with his second album presents the label founder, Archie Sagers, on bass for this track.

Each artist brings their own unique style and personality to each track in Pavement’s classic album. Crooked Rain Crooked Rain holds a special place in indie rock history and is of great sentimental importance to us here at the label.

Glitter is the second and final single from Archie’s upcoming E.P. “New Colours In The Sky”. It features sparkling guitars and an atmosphere reminiscent of a still city in the midnight rain. Distorted bass chords give power to the melodic chorus and nostalgic synths drift in and out.

This song was written in the second national lockdown in the U.K. Archie captures a rainy evening in Brighton where street lights reflected off the floor like fireworks and glittered in the falling rain.

Archie’s new E.P. will be released September 12th of this year and features his best crafted songs to date, telling his story of moving away and falling in love.

Baltimore at an Angle is G. Gillingham and he creates jangly indie rock songs from his home on an extremely low budget, recording all vocals with apple earphones and all guitars through I-Rig.

This new direction represents a higher fidelity of sound but the fuzzy vocals and jangly guitar that made his debut unique are still present in the album.

Gillingham chose to work with Archie Sagers for this album. Every song was sent to Archie for mixing and tidying up. Bass riffs, synthesizer flairs and creative reverb are present throughout the runtime and are a mark of Archie’s production. The collaboration between the two musicians brings an interesting departure from Gilligham’s usual lofi aesthetic.

Hailing from Brighton, ELLiS·D veers between Psychedelic jangle and taut Post-Punk attack, singing with an unapologetic honesty of the burden of guilt shouldered by today’s youth for the world future generations are set to inherit. Fierce Motorik rhythms underpin sweeping, rose-tinted melodies, subtly hinting at aspects of Indie, Krautrock and Baroque Pop without ever firmly bedding down roots at any of their doors.

Starting out as a drummer playing in a host of different bands from the age of 15 – most notably the garage four piece Strange Cages – ELLiS·D began his solo career in the summer of 2019 with the release of the single “Elastic” before following up with a string of further singles and his debut EP in Feb ’21, the first record to be released via his own DIY Label ‘Change The F*cking Records!’.

‘We Are The Last Generation’ sees ELLiS·D at his most eclectic to date, fusing together the high-octane energy that his live audiences have become accustomed to with a more methodical songwriting approach, underpinned by an anxiety ridden, histrionic vocal style that simultaneously quivers and roars above the instrumentation. Tackling deep-rooted existential fears on the EP of a future slipping from our grasp, ELLiS·D attempts to come to terms with these issues with the cynicism and trace hope embodied by the youth of today. It also sees him team up with local Brighton label Crafting Room Recordings for a first physical release on cassette

Since the return of live music in 2021 ELLiS·D has been performing constantly across the South East, supporting the likes of Blanketman, U-Bahn, Hadda Be + Hi-Vis in Brighton + London on top of hometown headline shows, receiving airplay from BBC Introducing, Boogaloo, TotallyRadio, Slack City, as well as curating a monthly night in the cellar of the Brunswick with Change The F*cking Records!

For the launch of the EP ELLiS·D will be playing two separate release shows at The Green Door Store in Brighton on 6th December followed by The George Tavern in London on the 10th.
