Glitter is the second and final single from Archie’s upcoming E.P. “New Colours In The Sky”. It features sparkling guitars and an atmosphere reminiscent of a still city in the midnight rain. Distorted bass chords give power to the melodic chorus and nostalgic synths drift in and out.

This song was written in the second national lockdown in the U.K. Archie captures a rainy evening in Brighton where street lights reflected off the floor like fireworks and glittered in the falling rain.

Archie’s new E.P. will be released September 12th of this year and features his best crafted songs to date, telling his story of moving away and falling in love.

New Colours In The Sky is Archie’s second E.P. and it features his best songwriting to date. with higher production standards and more complex instrumentation, this new E.P. promises to deliver catchy dream-pop / post-punk songs with resonant emotional themes.

The E.P. was written whilst away from home for the first time, telling the story of Archie falling in love and finding a new place to be from. For this new E.P. Archie created tracks from his cramped university bedroom during the second and third U.K. lockdowns.

Inspired by the music of The Cure, The Chameleons, Joy Division and New Order; “New Colours In The Sky” blends post-punk basslines and song structures with dreamy vocals, swirling guitars, catchy hooks and ambient drones.
