We Kill Cowboys is a South African hard rock band from Cape Town, known for blending psychedelic rock, punk, grunge, and cowpunk. Founded by tattoo artist and singer-songwriter Alex Muller during the 2020 lockdown, the band started as a solo project and later expanded into a full lineup. They released their debut EP Let It Burn followed by Dirty Business in 2022, featuring raw, rebellious themes and gritty sound. In 2024, they dropped the single “Earth Demon” from their upcoming EP The Rage. We Kill Cowboys are recognized for their powerful, anti-establishment lyrics and strong presence in the Cape Town underground music scene.
