Gruselthon, renowned for its exquisite recordings, presents Witch’s Hand, the collaborative project between Allysen Callery and Mother Bear. This release takes us back to the blood-soaked realm of spooky entertainment, where the haunting “Universal Hammer” compilation was born. The “Universal Hammer” sampler, considered by some critics as the “dilapidated expression of mass culture,” served as the meeting ground for these artists and became the defining core of Gruselthon for selected music enthusiasts. On „Witch’s Hand“, Dortmund, Germany based trio Mother Bear delivers riff-oriented stoner doom with their new track „Consuming Rite“ as well as their interpretation of Allysen Callery’s Ghost Folk hit „Beautiful Teeth“. Rhode Island based folk musician Allysen Callery contributes her eerie, spooky folk songs, garnished with some riffage by Mother Bear. Brace yourself for an intercontinental, folk-horror themed journey.
