Hailing from Philadelphia, PA’ Greg is a intuitive songwriter and storyteller whose work posses an innate ability to balance grit with gentleness, cruelties rewritten through preternatural sweetness that offers a glimpse into the beautiful lonely world at the core of this music. On the heels his self titled release ‘Greg Mendez’ which landed on best of the year lists from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Paste and more, Greg is back with the release of new single and “First Time” from is upcoming EP ‘First Time/ Alone’ EP out October 18th.
