Named inspired by the combined genres of Black and Sludge Metal BLACK SLUDGE brings sounds on down tuned distorted instruments, thundering drums and vocals varying from wailing yells to monstrous howls and banshee screeches. Lyrics taking inspiration from sci fi/fantasy horror media from creators such as Clive Baker and H.P. Lovecraft while weaving in themes ranging from mental health, corruption of power and anti-religion.
