Hypnotic fuzzed-out psychedelic doom from the backwoods of Alabama.Since its inception in 2010 the father, son duo of Pleasant Valley have opened shows for southern heavies Royal Thunder, Howling Giant, and Toke.
Their track Communion was featured in the 2014 horror film Death To The World.

Pleasant Valley re- recorded some of the original bass and drum tracks with guitar to have a closer representation of the live sound in October. Chris Lantrip at Headless Dinosaur engineered and co-produced these and a couple more tracks to come later. (tracks from the Mars release)
Original Notes
Alabama’s Pleasant Valley began as Bonejackal in 2009. After a couple of bass players and a move to a very rural area of the state they began experimenting as a duo replacing the guitar with fuzz heavy bass.
Since its inception they have opened shows for southern heavies Royal Thunder, Toke, and Howling Giant. Influenced by Black Sabbath and 70s hard rockers they also draw on modern Stoner/Doom artists Beast in the Field and OM.
