“Dull Pain was written during the first of two writing sessions Henry and I did for the new album. Of the new songs, I feel like it’s the closest to having the early Pentagram sound. We presented Bobby with quite a few demos for him to choose from and he came into the studio with his lyric book and nailed this song quickly. It was impressive to witness. We had a great musical connection and working relationship immediately and you can hear it across the whole album.”
