SAM & SYN strikes back!
“Space Dust Obsession” is a space story.
It all started when we discovered sounds in midi that reminded us of a computer in a space station. This inspired us to create a musical story about an astronaut who flies into space, but he’s going too fast and his rocket starts to break down. Attempts to get help from the ground fail. He’s left alone… As a result of the failure, he begins to drift into the depths of space. He knows that he’s doomed to die flying into the unknown, but he’s delighted by the view around him. Over time, the rocket starts to be covered in shimmering dust that hypnotizes the astronaut. And so, dazed but happy, he heads for his last flight into the abyss of space.
