AGNI PARTHENE / APOLEIA is a fusion of sacred choral tradition and apocalyptic soundscape. It reimagines the classical Orthodox hymn Agni Parthene (Greek for “O Pure Virgin”), an ancient fiery prayer to the Holy Mother of God. Originally written by Saint Nektarios of Aegina during a time of intense personal suffering, this hymn continues to offer strength and hope to those in pain. The second movement, Apoleia (Greek for “Ruin”), marks a fall — a descent into heaviness, sorrow, despair, repentance, and ultimately, surrender. This is a collision of the sacred and the human — a journey from light into darkness, from spiritual elevation to inner collapse. The contrast tears at the soul: the same voice that once prayed for protection now speaks from a place of hopelessness, confessing with the awareness of someone no longer truly alive — yet still conscious of their guilt.
AGNI PARTHENE / APOLEIA is not merely a song. It is a path, a lived experience. A ritual in sound that exposes the tragedy of a soul that’s lost itself — yet still digs through ashes in search of meaning.
It’s the realization that without inner spirituality, we are not truly alive.
Here, faith meets doubt and despair.
And sound becomes confession.

AGNI PARTHENE /APOLEIA поєднання сакрального звукового полотна з апокаліптичним. Це переспів класичного православного співу древньої вогняної молитви «Agni Parthene» (грецькою — «О, Невісто Неневісная»), яка є гімном до Пресвятої Богородиці. Написана святим Нектарієм Егінським у часи його важких поневірянь, та вона й зараз дає силу до життя. Наступна частина Apoleia ( Руїна) це падіння — важка частина з болем, розпачем, каяттям та прийняттям
Це поєднання сакрального і людського, подорож від світла до темряви, від духовного піднесення — до внутрішнього згоряння. Контраст створює емоційний надрив: голос, що щойно молився про захист і спасіння, тепер кається в безвиході й говорить від імені людини, яка вже “не жива”, але ще усвідомлює свою провину.
AGNI PARTHENE / Apoleia — це не просто пісня. Це шлях, життєвий досвід. Це музичний ритуал, який розкриває трагедію душі, що втратила себе, але все ще шукає сенс у попелі. Усвідомлення, що без внутрішньої духовності, людина Не жива. Тут зустрічаються віра і сумнів і відчай, а звук — стає сповіддю.
