#Necromantik #Stoner #Doom ghouls, Crypt Monarch, arise from their tombs to reveal their new album, Codex Pestilentia, coming to life on September 5th.
In a continuation of 2021’s The Necronaut, we return 200 years later to a world devastated by the Necronaut and his army. Codex Pestilentia dwells in the story of a company of soldiers trying to reach a cursed book that contains spells and magic to seal evil away.
The record contains 5 tracks filled with thick, resin-infused Stoner Doom, a gripping tale of hellish creatures, perilous travels and the undying pride of a king in need to save his people.
Codex Pestilentia will be unleashed through the evil wrongdoings of Things from Beyond (USA/Vinyl), Cognitive Discordance Records (Costa Rica/CD) and Violence Records (Costa Rica/Cassette).
Album Preview:
Leaving his home behind, appointed as the leader, Rex Septentriones, marches with his army north-west towards the decimated land of Arikas, then continuing their path towards the Last Desert. Once on the harbor at the far end of the continent, they will sail south towards the land of Kiv’von. His goal is to retrieve the Codex Pestilentia and destroy the Evil hunting in the dark.
