LITANIA formed in 2024, gathering members from Elli De Mon, The Great Northern X, Collars and The Black Heart Procession. This Serbian-Italian foursome conjures up a unique sonic spell called “hindustan psych”, delivering a mystical blend of heavy and Indian music to cast a spell over you. Their doomy and droning soundscapes interweave aerial instrumental passages featuring traditional instruments such as sitar, dilruba, harmonium, and tanpura, while Elisa De Munari’s ritualistic vocal incantations draw inspiration from ancient Indian Ragas, evoking a journey suspended between abyss and transcendence.
