“The lyrics on ‘vicious cycle’ are a direct quote of a dream Marilyn Manson told on the live album The Last Tour on Earth before the song ‘I Don’t Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)’ at the show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The tantalizing heavy bass riff, written by Pan, gave birth to the punky track and its name.”
