Phoenix, Arizona heavy metal band JUPITER CYCLOPS return with “Who Are They Foolin’?”, the first single from their sophomore album “One Eye Opens”, out November 20th, 2026 via Rockshots Records.
Opening the new album, “Who Are They Foolin’?” introduces the heavier side of Jupiter Cyclops’ new material, combining classic heavy metal and NWOBHM influences with early thrash elements, melodic guitar work and commanding vocals.
The song’s origins go back to an idea written by bassist Jake Melius when he was just 16 years old, later developed with guitarist Dustin Lyon and completed with lyrics by Aaron Peltz.
Lyrically, “Who Are They Foolin’?” is the band’s protest song, addressing power, manipulation and the ability of a relatively small group of people to exercise control over others. These themes also provide a direct entry point into the wider concept behind “One Eye Opens”.
