About “Mallachtaí” & The New Album:
“Mallachtaí” explores the formidable power of satire within ancient Ireland’s Bardic tradition, when words could serve as potent weapons capable of shaping reputations and influencing society. The song draws attention to the authority once held by bards and druids.
Unlike its predecessor “Ériú’s Wheel”, the new 9-track record “Mac Tíre – Son of the Land” explores diverse aspects of Ireland’s ancient past, combining extreme metal with traditional Irish instrumentation.
