20 million years ago I discovered that something was trapped around me.
“Who are you? What do you want from me?”
“They call us fear and terror. We are part of you and we want to be with you, we don’t want to hurt you,” they said. “We have come to teach you not to run away.”
20 million years ago I discovered that the universe is something small and limited. But I also discovered that everything has an end.
“Someday we may not be here anymore and we cannot be with you,” they said. “In 20 million years we will decide whether to disappear or die with you.”
20 million years ago I discovered that there is no such thing as perpetual harmony. But I also discovered that someday I will disappear too.
“Fear, terror, don’t go, please stay here with me,” I said.
