NEROMEGA is a gathering of italian musicians from Rome, who have been active for over 25 years in very different bands and musical contexts and known each other since the mid 90ies, always sharing a passion for a certain kind of musical vibes/themes and high quality songwriting.
NEROMEGA (https://www.facebook.com/Neromega.doom) meets at the crossroads of early doom, italian dark metal and progressive/psychedelic rock of old, yet finds its own unique path by being more than a sum of its elements. Our lyrics and themes are kept in Italian language and imagery. Our sound reeks of doom, italian criminalia/giallo/noir/horror morbidity and Covid-19 insanity.
Included in the “NEROMEGA” debut mini album are 3 original songs and one cover (“Un Posto” by Il Balletto di Bronzo).
Guitars, bass and drums were recorded live in one day at the Mob Studios in Rome, September 2019. The vocals, some of the guitar solos and organ parts were recorded at the Shelter Room in February/March 2020.
We strongly believe in our music and it´s potential and now through HELTER SKELTER PRODUCTIONS (distributed & marketed by REGAIN RECORDS) we have found a proper way to release these 4 tracks spawned out of Italian Giallo, horror and doom. The NEROMEGA debut mini album will be released on both LP & CD format during early spring 2021.
