Aliceissleeping is an alt rock band based in London, UK. Their sound is inspired by the punch and grit of 90s alternative rock and eerie creatures of the mind.

What keeps you awake in the dark, when you are alone with your head?
If you look closer, reality has cracks in the paint that crumble at the whim of the wind.
But no, please, believe me — everything is completely fine.

‘Completely fine’ is the first full length from Aliceissleeping, and it was recorded in
London (UK) between August 2019 and July 2020. The 9 songs in the album are
very emotionally charged, some are heavy, some are hypnotic and some are quite
dark. Many things happened in conjunction with the recording: a sudden
bereavement and then the pandemic struck, creating an intense context in which the
band has worked in these months.

There are a lot of strong feelings expressed in the album: there is frustration and
alienation coming from society imbalances and its preconstructed cages. There are
echoes of silence, noise, loneliness, colors and blackness, contradictions, beauty,
urges and nightmares. The cover artwork was created by Federico Salis(https://federicosalis.com/), a talented
artist from Sardinia (Italy) that was purposely chosen for his extremely bold style.

‘Completely Fine’ is the fruit of a lot of passion and effort, there was a lot of research
in the sounds and arrangements, but it’s also quite instinctive, crude and true.
It is an album from outsiders to outsiders. When you are tired of reworking yourself
as an efficient and functional adult in a world of facade, you might find your voice in
Aliceissleeping.
