‘Drown The Phoenix’ promises a thick soup of sound from the Belfast band born 2002. Taking the warmth of Sabbath, some raw grace of early Iron Maiden, the groove of Grand Funk, the psychedelic muck and old fury from proto punk and metal in it’s many forms to condense, crossover and also let loose.
This sound that has undoubtedly eluded the bands previous studio efforts to some degree has twisted characteristically through Bad Boat’s incarnations, managed to aid their progression through their interpretation of heavy music and solidify the base for becoming one of Northern Ireland’s best and inspired bands.
