BILLY CLUBS are like a Wall of Sound about to crumble on the listener. A good mixture of heavy monolithic riffs and catchy enough melodies. The early HC and punk influence is undeniable but still they manage to bring something new to the table by mixing those with others like: doom stoner, grunge and rock and roll.
The absolute goal of the new EP Strange Driving is to be unstoppable from the beginning till the end. A cocktail with perfect mixture between punk verses that leads to more open ground choruses. The structure of this EP is quite solid and keeps the house well grounded in the members primal loves. There are also some groove tracks as Cheeky, early 70’s riffs echoes in more than one track where the guitar explodes like a volcano in solos and fancy tricks. As the heaviness moves on their sincerity comes out. There is only one rule that combines all tracks together: less is more and keep the volume as high as you can. Everything hast o be clean and understandable and you will see how 20 minutes can be fast as fuck.
