Last night, Big Thief performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden for the first time ever. They played ‘Certainty,’ a single off of Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, out now via 4AD.
Originally, ‘Certainty’ was written and recorded directly to 4-track during a three-day power outage while recording at Sam Evian’s Flying Cloud Studios. As a result, it has a warm, ramshackle feel, which comes across in this live performance. It also presents the band’s charming closeness, which has long been raved about in their live shows. Currently, the band is in the midst of a North American tour, with most dates sold out. Tickets for all shows are on sale now and a full list can be found below.
