Armed with a killer bass/drums beat, fuzztone guitars and snotty vocals and informed by the garage-psych sounds of the ‘60s and beyond, Cosmic Shadows make their full-length debut for Sound Effect Records! The Athens, Greece band was founded in 2017 by main man, singer/songwriter Jon Mitropoulos, having released 2 singles, “Green Skin” (February 2020) and “I am Dead” (April 2020), and establishing an ever-growing and loyal fan base. Their self-titled debut album is filled with groovy beats and lysergic leads, highlighting Jon’s emotive lyrics. First single off their debut album is “Bo Diddley Was the Seventh Son”.
“Cosmic Shadows” shall be out on November 24th 2023 via Sound Effect Records, on classic black vinyl and deluxe cyan blue, to match the trippy artwork courtesy of Bill Delis.
