“Desolate Lands” delivers powerful symphonic power metal with fast, militant rhythms, massive orchestral arrangements and epic melodies rooted in the classic ’80s and ’90s tradition. The track blends dark atmospheres with cinematic tension, featuring the commanding vocals of Giacomo Rossi and the operatic soprano of Martina Mazzeo.
The song is taken from the fantasy concept album “The Battle Of The Dead”, a story set in a world devastated by a mysterious plague that corrupts the soul, leading to a final clash between the living and the dead. The album explores themes of power, betrayal, sacrifice and hope.
