The band Fools Paradise from Feira de Santana/Brazil released in Saturday (13) their first single “Confused Mind” in a symbolism to the release of Black Sabbath’s first album in the same day of 1970. The Stoner / Doom Metal project was formed in 2018 by guitarist and composer Gabriel Mattos (CARNIFIED) being completed by the musicians Leandro D’Carvalho (guitar), Luciano Penelu (drums) and Joilson Santos (bass) from sludge/doom metal band Erasy and by the singer Iasmim Bastos. This first single combines the weight of the instrumental based on elements of Stoner and Doom Metal with the soul/epic-inspired voice of Iasmim, giving an aura equally dense and melodic for the track. The track blasts references and inspirations from bands like Jet Thoth, Windhand, Sabbath and others.
