Formed from the fallout of a previous unnamed stoner-doom project founded by Danny (currently of Vold) and later joined by Stefan Matussek (SOWA, Single Malt Therapy), Karatschai’s radioactive sludge emerged in late 2019/early 2020.
The band is now a 4-piece with David (ex-Albez Duz, Gapo, Cromlech) on Bass and Joel (Metall) on Vocals. Since 2024 666tin (SOWA, ESEL) has taken up drum duty.
