Misty Route is an alternative metal band from Athens since 2019.
Their music is inspired by a mixture of different musical genres and is characterized mainly by its dark ambient character and escalating groove. Touches of psychedelic rock are harmonically brought together with metal breakouts

“Ethos” is the second full-length album of Misty Route.
Sonically the album revolves around dark ambient soundscapes and emerging heavy grooves that often escalate to liberating metal breakouts.
The lyrics focus on some of the biggest problems of our modern society, from a human being’s point of view.
The album’s title “Ethos” comes from the Greek word “Ήθος”, which encapsulates a person’s values, morale, state of living and behavioural characteristics.
The album cover is inspired by the flame that we carry deep in our souls, which refuses to go out despite the challenges, symbolizing our last resort in the darkest of times that we are going through.
