This song is about resignation and discouragement, the feeling you have when you decide to give up all your dreams, those dreams that kept on getting farther from you the more you tried to reach them, those colours you finally decide to stop looking at, because you prefer living in a world surrounded by grey, instead of dreaming of a world filled with colour and hope that is unattainable.
