Probably frustrated with the cancellation of the 2020 edition (due to COVID – what else?), The organizers of the Stoned and Dusted Festival (a small festival organized in the high Californian desert for a few years) have launched a small label, CDWA Records (based on the name of the organ: California Desert Wizards Association). The goal, very pragmatic, is to release from the beginning of the year 2021 a series of lives produced for the occasion, to be released in film (DVD) and audio (LP, CD …) for the following 5 groups:
- EARTHLESS
- NEBULA
- SPIRIT MOTHER
- MONTAIN TAMER
- STONER
This last group with the nickname that we hope for in the 3rd degree is a project set up by Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri and Ryan Gut (the last drummer in Brant Bjork’s solo backing band).
The concerts were filmed in October 2020 in the Mojave Desert.
