This live performance was captured during our album release tour last summer. It’s a mix of songs from our debut album ‘Boisterous Love’, along with all 3 tracks from our ‘HARM’ EP (2022).
It captures the raw, ferocious energy of the Ogives Big Band live sound & acts as an introduction to the new line up, featuring Corey Carruthers-Bell on bass & John Stewart on drums. This release marks the beginning of a brand new chapter, with a new focus & perspective &, inevitably a new sound.
The release date of this album is significant as it’s the same date that Ogives Big Band performed live for the first time, back in 2017. This performance was originally intended to be a one off for a solo Ogives show, but ultimately led to the formation of a more permanent iteration of Ogives as a full band and separate entity.
