10 months ago I set out to pursue something meaningful. And not a single time did I doubt if what I was doing was meaningful or not. Regardless of the results along the way, of the opinions of others or the uncertainty of given circumstances, I always knew that this was the right thing to do. And I never would have thought that it would be so difficult to be honest publicly. Nevertheless, having finally reached this milestone, I give air to my life-thirsty Self with a deep inhale.
After exhaling, however, a couple of moments pass and I stand there feeling an unfamiliar sense of emptiness, and the joy and happiness only leave their traces in the rational mind, where I tell myself that I have to be ecstatic. The ongoing pursuit for something bigger than myself, for my own personal album of music, had filled me with a sense of mystery and purpose, which at the end of the journey seemed to have vapored into the breeze. Regardless of the struggles, doubts and frustrations along the way, it was always a challenge to be overcome and a mountain to be climbed. And exactly that was the magic that filled me and the fuel that drove me forward. As I realize that the emptiness inside is just a space that’s waiting to be filled with another purpose, a sense of calm and happiness takes over my mind and I give myself a pat on the back for a job well done. Ultimately, I am extremely satisfied with the result, and I leave my soul to rest for the moment, because it’s going to be filled with another undertaking in the upcoming future.
During the next few months I will be revealing the project inside out. Starting from the fundamental ideas, and later diving into each part of the album. I will present the inspiration and/or backstory behind each song, dream analyses and their possible meanings. And most importantly, try to tie the knot between three nuggets of art, to link the three essential circuits – visuals, text and music, making them into a unified expression of the unconscious, through which you may enter the dream together with me.
