On the autumnal equinox of 23rd September 2026, Pyre of Descent’s debut album will be released in cooperation with Rubeus Obex on double vinyl and by Swiss Dark Nights on compact disc.
‘Albedo’, as it is titled, reflects esoteric experiences of abysmal awe in terrible enchantment. The devotional songs on the album are based around the themes of light, inmost alchemy and the spiritual ecstasies in the tension of becoming and passing. On ‘Albedo’, Pyre of Descent consists of founding member and former vocalist Dave S. on guitar and Daniel S. on bass and vocals.
“Die For Us” is the first single from Pyre of Descent’s upcoming debut album ‘Albedo’, released on 23rd September 2026. Musically, “Die For Us” bridges the old era of Pyre of Descent to the new with Daniel S. on lead vocals and bass guitar.
