Reassembled through the lens of vintage delta blues, and Harding’s stylistic embellishments ‘A Thousand Snakes (Deluxe Version)’ draws upon a rich well of classic hard rock and grunge affording the track a dark, haunted character.
‘This version is a direct ode to the blues genre. Reinterpreting the song at this level, looking at it more organically and using slide guitar, resonators, and instruments that were ‘bare’ forced me to understand a different side of the song.’ Ross Harding
