Stone Prophets were formed in 2022 among the icy mountains of Bergamo. Legend
has it that the band’s first concerts took place exclusively during illegal gatherings
in the snowy woods, where the amplifiers were powered by gasoline generators.
The original core consists of guitarist Vale Mastermetal, known for his raw,
saturated sound and a dense tone described as “Sonic Ectoplasm”; bassist Claudio
D’acciaio, whose sub‑atomic frequencies make bones tremble; singer Alx Merely,
the wild spirit of the band, with a voice that sounds as if he had swallowed the
purest snow and rinsed it with bourbon; and drummer Nico Storm, whose slow,
tribal style—alternating with bursts of technique—has become the group’s
