Written and recorded over the course of a year, ‘Sunlight’ is the second single from ‘The Ancient Place’ Sunspire’s second LP. Produced using limited equipment at the artist’s home, the record reflects a widening palette of sounds and influences while staying true to the nostalgic dream-pop style of previous releases.
The joyful romanticism of ‘Sunlight’ is a warm sound bed to lie your ears upon. Soft arpeggiated synth gives way to swinging drums and funky bass. Possibly Sunspire’s most danceable track yet.
