Founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2018, THE BLACK CAT’S EYE connect directly to the 60s and ’70s, that great era of psychedelic rock. The band’s broad, heavenly soundscapes alternate with glistening fuzz, bass and drumriffs. While interwoven chord pickings create a dense, transparent soundscape. Over all of this, elegiac instrumental and vocal melodies
float like clouds of cotton wool with sometimes bewitchingly shimmering, sometimes raw lead guitars rooted in the blues. The band released their debut album “The Empty Space Between A Seamount And Shock-Headed Julia” on coloured 180g vinyl and CD/Digital on Tonzonen Records on 24 March 2023.
