The Fierce and the Dead are to release the track Shake The Jar to streaming services and YouTube on Friday, June 30th, the final preview from their forthcoming album News From The Invisible World.
“We wrote this track with a lot of discontent around how the world is and how many people who are struggling are expected to take the brunt of any changes. We need more love!” says lead singer/bassist and producer Kevin Feazey. “The first track we recorded with the baritone guitars for extra low riff action. I love Tom from Orange Clocks backing vocals on
this one” adds guitarist Matt Stevens.
News From The Invisible World is released on the 28th July. The 8-song, 42-minute album marks the band’s first release featuring vocals from bassist Kevin Feazey. Guests include Matt Jones (Jamie T/Ultrasound/Liam Gallagher) on keys, Tom Hunt on backing vocals (Orange Clocks), and brass from Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey/Gallon Drunk). The album has been 5 years in the making.

continued evolution and willingness to push boundaries while still maintaining their distinctive sound that mixes psychedelia, stoner rock, prog, post-rock, and metal. This is their first album to feature lead vocals.
News From The Invisible World will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital download on July 28, 2023. Pre-orders are available now from the band’s Bandcamp page. The band launches the album with a live appearance at London’s Black Heart on October 14. The band will announce a UK headline tour for 2024 shortly.
