Santa Rosa, California based the Fizz Fuzz released their debut album in the spring of 2020, and were
heading toward extensive US tour dates in the summer. With plans also in the works for a series of
European shows in the spring of 2021 featuring Steve Earle (Afghan Whigs) on drums, the roll out of their
live shows was postponed like so many tours planned for 2020 and beyond.
Titled Palmyra, the FIZZ FUZZ album features performances by David Angstrom (Hermano/Luna Sol),
Steve Earle, Mike Callahan (Hermano/Earshot), Alice Albertazzi and Gianfranco Romanelli (Alice
Tambourine Lover), and Mark Engel (Orquesta del Desierto).
Dark Horse II, written by Dandy Brown and John Garcia, originally appeared on the Hermano album into
the Exam Room. Giving the song fresh legs and a new approach, the Fizz Fuzz tracked a new version for
Palmyra.
