“Matthew was an EMT, he worked the late-night shift in the hot muggy city. He chose this profession because he wanted to help the community but eventually it became a burden. Very often the people he was trying to help would be downright mean, cruel and hateful. There was a very high population of homeless vagrants and it seemed like at least twice every night that would be a major call to one of these areas.
Sometimes they would act violent towards Matthew by lashing out at him. Justifiably he would become enraged in his mind. It was an insult to be treated so horribly even though he was trying to save their lives. He felt there would be no escape from this world. Until one night his life changed forever…”
