The contemporary EBM/Coldwave sensation hails from Brussels, Belgium and was formed in late 2019 by singer/multi-instrumentalist Sam Huge and keyboardist/producer Gaelle Souflet. The name ULTRA SUNN stems from Gaelle and Sam’s reflection on aesthetics, light, and the symbolism of the sun, embodying the couple’s ideals.
Peaceful but engaging, the new album US is boundless, euphoric, and ideal for anything from easing you through your work day with your body moving to the beat, or onto the dancefloor. The name was chosen to represent the band, and also as a nod to similarly named albums by for example The Velvet Underground.
