Last night, Big Thief treated The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to a brand new and unreleased song entitled ‘Vampire Empire’. While the studio version of the song does not yet exist, it has become a live staple for the band and fan favourite on their current tour, and they couldn’t wait until they got to the studio to give wider audiences a sneak peek.
The band will continue to tour throughout the year in support of their critically-acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You. They head to Europe in April, followed by a tour in the summer, including their first headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, alongside the legendary Lucinda Williams. They also recently added dates at Berkley’s Greek Theatre and Los Angeles’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Tickets for all dates are on sale now and can be purchased here.
