Your Inner God – Monochromic (2020) Your Inner God make wild and dark garage blues rock, stoner and psychedelic rock from the distant backwoods of Ukraine. Monochromic is their new full album, recorded in Kharkov at On-Air studio. The essential in Monochromic is the aesthetic beauty and the application of synesthesia to the visual component of music, the search for subtle changes in emotions in b/w. Actually, the idea of the album is to evoke listener’s emotions – therefore, the title of the album intentionally contradicts the content and its meaning. As you can see from the titles – the album is the vessel, that picks the listener up at Arrival, sending him right into the head of Your Inner God, while in the end, the listener can’t help, but run away from oneself as if from Jailer.
Conflicts in the dynamics of music, atmosphere and gravity, in the head of the artist and listener from superficial apathy and inner rainbow of anxiety. The whole conceptualism here conveys the absence of concepts, as during search of meaning the author dives deeper and deeper into himself, ans just like the listener finds his own inner God.
