One thing that I have realized after spending 16 years as a musician is that creating original music is easier than covering music by other artists/bands (at least for me). When I started releasing music as a solo musician, I concentrated only on originals, although I always wanted to cover a few songs by artists whom I have loved over the years. So, 2 years ago, I finally started picking up those songs one by one. And man! Learning those songs were difficult! A lot of practice, sheer determination and large amount of dedicated time later, I can finally say that I have created something concrete.
“Cover Chronicles” is an album where I have taken popular songs, from artists/bands belonging to various genres, and given them an epic psychedelic post-rock/metal twist. This album is truly a result of immense hard work and dedication. And it features instrumental covers of songs by Tool, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Radiohead, The Cranberries, Interpol & System Of A Down
