On the surface, Blaise the Seeker is a doom metal band that produces a melodic but dense sound that plummets and scatters between Nirvana and Monolord.
Their emerging social media presence hatches like a spawn of Gwar and Mr. Rogers, and even at a glance, there seems to be more to the story of Blaise the Seeker than memorable grooves and heady lyrics.
Is Blaise the Seeker a band? A character? A social media satire?
Answering that question inclines us to consider the artist behind the vision.
Blaise the Seeker is performance art. It’s a theatrical, spontaneous, and organic flow of creativity packaged into palatable music and an engaging, interactive social media experience.
